COVID-19 – An Update to Customers 6th July 2020
We are extremely proud of our staff who have worked tirelessly to continue to provide a safe and friendly service to our customers under challenging conditions. As an essential service we have maintained our normal opening hours and helped thousands of other key workers keep working throughout the pandemic.
We are pleased to announce that, from today, we will start accepting cash payments again. We would still encourage customers to use card or contactless payments where possible, this includes Apple Pay.
We continue to ask customers to be respectful of national social distancing guidelines. We have not implemented outdoor queueing systems at our petrol stations due to the unique hazards present. These are principally the risk of fire or explosion relating to petrol and petrol vapour and also the danger posed by high volumes of traffic moving onto and away from the forecourts. These risks increase with an accumulation of people on the forecourt.
We are looking to reopen our customer toilets as soon as it is considered safe to do so.
